Hi! I am Nick Shelton, owner of The Art Walk Shop & Studio in Winthrop Maine! I started making pottery in 2013 on a plastic pottery wheel! In 20I5 I got my first real wheel and loved it! I enjoy making pottery that is totally unique, each piece I make is different. To me, throwing clay on a wheel is calming, it’s you, the clay and the wheel….I find it fulfilling to watch the pieces take shape…..and opening the kiln is like Christmas morning!!
